About this activity

Explore a thousand years of royal history, see the crown jewels, and hear tales of beheadings from a Yeoman Warder.

Details

The Tower of London has been a royal palace, prison, armory, zoo, and mint during its 1,000-year history. Today its most famous residents are the ravens (whose presence, legend says, prevents the tower from falling) and the Crown Jewels — the most valuable collection of ceremonial objects in the world.
