The Eastern Mangroves National Park is a 19 km² tidal ecosystem sandwiched between Abu Dhabi city and the Arabian Gulf — a quiet, otherworldly contrast to the towers just minutes away. Paddling through the mangrove tunnels at dawn or dusk, with flamingos wading in the shallows around you, is one of the UAE's best-kept secrets.
