Nile Felucca Sunset Sailing
25 €
Sobre esta actividad
Drift down the world's longest river on a traditional sailboat as Cairo's minarets light up at dusk.
Detalles
The felucca — Egypt's traditional Nile sailboat — has carried people up and down this river for 4,000 years. This evening sail departs from the Corniche el-Nil as the afternoon heat softens into a golden dusk, offering Cairo's most cinematic skyline views from the water.
What's Included
- 1.5-hour felucca sail (17:30–19:00)
- Egyptian tea and hibiscus juice (karkadeh)
- Views of Cairo Tower and Zamalek island
- Knowledgeable local boatman
Meeting Point
Corniche el-Nil at the Tahrir Bridge steps. Look for the Moon Valley Tours banner. There is no hotel pickup for this experience — taxis to the Corniche are plentiful and inexpensive from any central hotel.
Tips
- Bring a light jacket — the Nile breeze cools quickly at sunset
- Tip your boatman in EGP if you enjoy the experience
- Best combined with a Khan el-Khalili visit earlier in the afternoon
